The Sunshine Mountain Lodge is the ONLY ski-in, ski-out hotel in Banff National Park. It offers casual and fine dining, the area’s largest hot tub and family-friendly activities. Our new West Wing offers rooms with in-floor heating, jetted tubs, large-screen HD TVs, all in a rustic mountain theme.
You will be staying high in the Canadian Rockies, at 2,200 metres (7,200 feet) in Canada’s first national park – so special, it’s part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

WEST WING LOFT ROOMS
Imagine waking in a winter paradise. You hit the remote-controlled shutter to behold a stunning view of Lookout Mountain via 27 feet of glass. Inside, each room has in-floor heating, natural gas fireplaces, flat-screen televisions, upgraded amenities. The upper loft features a king-sized bed, private bath and flat-screen television. The main floor has a bathroom with jetted tub and windows that open onto the room, a queen bed, plus a second queen-sized Murphy bed.
WEST WING PREMIERE ROOMS
The premiere rooms are located in the NEW West Wing of the lodge. These rooms offer many of the same amenities as the Loft suites. Each room features a queen bed with a second queen sized Murphy bed, stunning floor-to-ceiling mountain views and has ski-to-the-door convenience. They are decorated with a contemporary mountain feel, with an accent on luxury.
MAIN LODGE SUITES
These spacious rooms are located in the main wing of the lodge. Settle into the inviting comfort of these suites and enjoy a peaceful night in your king size bed, unwind by the fireplace, take in the mountain views from your private balcony and soak in the spa-like bathroom. These rooms feature king beds, with a double pull-out sofa.
DELUXE VIEW WITH BALCONY ROOM
These rooms are located in the main lodge. They feature majestic mountain views from your own private slope-side balcony. These beautiful rooms feature a queen-sized bed, with single trundle bed. Flat screen TVs are standard. The bathrooms feature slate floors, granite counter tops and eco-double flush toilets. Wake up each morning to fresh powder.
DELUXE WATERFALL VIEW ROOMS
These rooms are located in the main lodge. The bathrooms feature slate floors and granite counter tops and eco-double flush toilets. These rooms feature a queen sized bed, with single trundle bed, face the Waterfall run and are especially quiet after hours.
