Situated at a slight hill in the old Arlberger Street, the luxurious Hotel Kertess is close to the center but also keeps enough distance to ensure that our guests still benefit from the silence and relaxation generated by the mountains.

It all began in 1968, when the family Spieß built the  „Berghaus Maria“. Twenty- three years later, in 1991, Marianne Kertess bought the building, extended it and converted it into a hotel.

Due to the fact that our team of dedicated employees has been working together for many years our hotel generates a familiar atmosphere. Our helpful staff will be at your side and make sure, that your stay is as comfortable and remarkable as possible. There is just the right offer for everyone- we are looking forward to welcome you!

This is the main task of our reception, kitchen and service Team, which we are well known and appreciated for.

• Free parking at the hotel- owned parking space: our shuttle-service is happy to bring you there and pick you up at the parking facility.
• Free hotel- owned parking facility about 500m from the hotel. On your arrival day you are welcome to use our arrival- and departure parking space, which is located directly at the hotel. Later on, our employees will gladly show you the permanent parking space, which is reserved for you.
• Comfortable and quick connection to the skiing area: during the day the shuttle bus will bring you to the center in less than two minutes. There you can find the cable- cars “Rendlbahn” and “Galzigbahn”. Between 8.30 and 11.00 the ski bus runs in intervals of 10 minutes between our hotel and the valley stations running the cable- cars. On your way back to the hotel, you can also access a free ski bus: between 11.00 and 15.00 it leaves every 30 minutes, between 15.00 and 18.00 it runs in intervals of ten minutes. No detours: the bus stop “Kertess” is located directly at the hotel
• Ski depots and ski rental: you can keep your equipment for free in safe, heated storage rooms at our partner- shop Sport Jennewein, which is located directly in front of the cable- car station “Rendlbahn”. This way we ensure quick and comfortable access to your skiing adventure without carrying around heavy equipment.
• Professional and committed co-workers: we gladly arrange ski- conductors, excursions and tickets- we will make sure to organize everything you are missing. You can get first- hand information on possible trips and various activities in the area.
• Pets: you are welcome to bring your dog to our hotel (charge: 10 € per day, food not included)
• Internet: we offer free Wi-Fi to our guests
• Relaxation including an amazing panorama view: as our guests you can use our sun- loungers and sunshades for free (in sumer) while enjoying the breathtaking view at the mountain- tops of the “Rendl”- area and the “Patteriol” (3056 m above sea level)

Travelling with children?

• We offer special chairs suitable for babies in our restaurant and special beds in your room- both free of charge
• It’s only a 20 minutes walk to the next playground, which is located in the center of St. Anton am Arlberg.
