The Tantalus Lodge offers twenty-four hour hospitality and Guest Services to help you make the most of your time in Whistler, and our team will strive to make your stay a comfortable one with our Green Key-recognized daily housekeeping service. Each of our affordable Whistler accommodations is over 875 square feet, with traditional fireplaces and the largest balconies in Whistler. Our convenient and easy to find location is a 5 minute walk to the gondolas and the main Whistler Village where people gather from morning until night.

Tantalus Resort Lodge offers many of the Whistler village hotel amenities you’ve come to expect. While you are located just a 5 minute walk from endless dining and shopping options in Whistler Village, back at the property you will find a full selection of year round and seasonal amenities for you and your family to enjoy.

Parking

The Tantalus has covered parking for vehicles under 6’6” in height. Over height parking is available, however stalls are limited. The cost per night is $19.00 + tax per night per vehicle for all parking on-site. For vehicles with trailers or buses, please contact the hotel prior to your stay to arrange offsite parking.

Check in/out times

Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. If you require an early check in or late checkout, please contact our Guest Services department to make arrangements prior to your arrival. Please note that late departures may be subject to additional charges. For hotel guests, luggage storage is available at no additional fee.

Internet access

Complimentary Wireless Internet access is available in all guest suites. To obtain access, please contact Guest Services to obtain an access code.

Swimming Pool

We have an outdoor pool which is open year round with some of the best views in Whistler! Open daily from 8:30am to 10:00pm. Our hot tubs are open all year round.

Outdoor Hot Tubs

After a great day on the slopes, you’ll want to soak in our hot tubs. We have two hot tubs with some of the best views in Whistler. Open 8:30am to 10:00pm daily.

Dry Sauna

Another remedy for tired muscles! Open 8:30am to 10:00pm daily.

Ski Shuttle

For your convenience, we operate a complimentary ski shuttle daily from 8:00am to 11:30am and 2:00pm to 5:00pm daily. (Times may vary slightly depending upon the hours of operation of the Mountains). Exact times will be posted at the front desk. NOTE: The Ski Shuttle Service only operates during ski season (November thru April).

Ski, Snowboard, & Bike Storage

Complimentary secure storage rooms are provided for your convenience and easy access. Locks are available at the front desk free of charge (a deposit is required) for your use. Skis, snowboards, & bikes that are brought into guest rooms are subject to a $200 damage fee. Please ensure you take advantage of our storage facilities.

Ski Tuning and Waxing

We are happy to make arrangements for tuning or waxing. Please inquire at the front desk.

Tennis Courts

Work on that forehand and footwork while surrounded by mountains and blue sky. We even provide racquets and tennis balls free of charge. (Open seasonally)

Beach Volleyball Court

We brought the beach closer to you, gather up your friends and enjoy a day “on the beach”. (Open seasonally)

Picnic Area

We have picnic tables with your own charcoal BBQ grill. Watch the kids play some tennis or volleyball while enjoying a family BBQ. First come, first serve. (Open seasonally)

Traditional Fireplaces in Every Suite

We are proud to offer traditional fireplaces in every suite at the Tantalus Resort Lodge. Due to safety and environmental reasons, we only permit manufactured firelogs to be used. For your convenience, we have them available individually for a nominal charge at the front desk or also by the case at any Whistler grocery store.

Kids Playground

Let the little ones burn off some energy before retiring for the evening. Located right on the hotels grounds with plenty of grass for them to run around and play ball or slide down our “mini” slope in the winter. (Sleds available on property for complimentary use).

Two Bedroom Premier Suite

Our Two Bedroom Premier Suites have 2 fully renovated bathrooms, fully stocked 3 appliance kitchen, dining room for 6, living room (sofa bed + love seat), a roof top deck overlooking Rainbow and Sprout Mountains, a second balcony facing the peace and tranquility of the forest, and vaulted ceilings.
