River Run Village – Keystone – 4 Star

River Run Village at Keystone Resort is the newest base area at the resort and known as the heart of Keystone Colorado.  River Run Village is home to many condominium complexes, boutique shops, world class restaurants, and of course the River Run Condos.  You are within walking distance to the River Run Gondola. River Run is an ideal base camp home for a ski vacation if you prefer to walk to the slopes or to be in the middle of the action.  It is possible to come on vacation and take a shuttle from the airport, and walk to ski rental shops, restaurants, a small market with no need to drive anywhere.  There is a even an outdoor fire pit located in the main plaza to roast s’mores or just to warm up around after a few runs on the slopes. River Run is a skiers dream with a ticket office located right next to the gondola, as well as the main kids ski school meeting point.

The River Run Condos are a collection of Condominium buildings in River Run Village itself rather than a building unto itself.  The condos in the River Run Village include: Arapahoe Lodge, Black Bear Condos, Buffalo Lodge, Dakota Lodge, Expedition Station, Jack Pine Lodge, Mill Creek Townhomes, Red Hawk Lodge & Townhomes, River Bank Lodge, Silver Mill Condos, and the Springs.

You’ll hand pick the exact River Run Village condo building and condo that you stay in from among our many beautiful properties, based on your preferences of decor, bedding configurations, locations, amenities, and views.  This is ideal for those with special sleeping arrangement or amenity requests and for larger groups who desire to stay in the same condo building close to friends or family.

River Run Village hosts multiple events throughout the year.  Some of the most popular include the Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival, Bluegrass and Beer Festival,  Mardi Gras, Bacon and Bourbon Festival, Oktoberfest as well as street parties, parades and tons of fun kids activities. River Run Village always offers up a good time, and Keystone is always family friendly.  Even during spring break, you’ll find Keystone gets quiet fairly early so that everyone can still wake up for first powder runs in the winter or early morning fishing in the summer.

The buildings in River Run are modern and most feature amenities such as heated parking, ski lockers, balconies, fireplaces, outdoor hot tubs, and heated pool access.  Many buildings have lobbies with added amenities such as comfortable lounge seating, fireplaces, flat screen TV’s pool tables, fitness centers and more.

Dining in River Run Village is a delightful experience for food lovers.  With many great restaurants, cafe’s and bars, there are limitless options for wonderful meals.  Start the morning with a cup of coffee over at Starbucks in the Silver Mill building or at Inxpot for a local cup of java in the Black Bear lodge.  Lunch and dinner includes options ranging from a burger and fries to a multi-course fine dining experience.  We love the paninis at New Moon Cafe or the burgers at Kickapoo Tavern or Zuma Roadhouse.

If shopping is what you are after in Keystone, River Run has plenty shops to keep you busy.  This is a great place to stay if someone in your group is planning on hitting the shops while others hit the slopes!
