Courchevel 1850
In 1946, Emile Allais (former Olympic skiing champion) and ‘Jeannot’ Cattelin (former owner of La Sivolière), had a dream: to create a ski resort that went beyond everyone’s expectations. Their ambitious project came to fruition shortly after the Second World War and helped foster the development of winter sports. The result was one of the world’s most well- respected ski resorts: Courchevel.
Courchevel, one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the world, is nestled in Savoie’s Tarantaise Valley in the French Alpes.
Courchevel is formed by five distinct villages: Saint-Bon-Tarentaise, Le Praz or Courchevel 1300, Courchevel village, Courchevel Moriond and Courchevel 1850.
Courchevel is the largest ski area in the world with interconnected slopes over 3 Valleys: Meribel, Val Thorens, Les Menuires and Tania.
Courchevel also has the most important ESF (French ski school) with more than 800 instructors speaking more than 15 different languages.

Tristan Auer, interior architect and designer vowed to respect the savoyard heritage in the 24 guest rooms, 11 suites and the apartment, while keeping the old woodwork and the warm character he introduced by discreet touches through contemporary furnishings.

Signature Suite

Duplex Apartment

Well-being and rejuvenation
NURISS is taking its winter quarters in Courchevel.
This London cosmeceutical brand created by Dr. Anita Sturnham will be available from next December 15th at La Sivoliere spa where this well-known dermatologist and her team will offer you luxury treatments dedicated to well-being and rejuvenation.
The philosophy of Dr. Sturnham is that a skin needs to be nourished with the nutrients it needs in order to be healthy and everyone’s skin has its own unique needs. Consequently, every treatment protocol will be designed after a personalized analysis.
Radiofrequency, ultrasounds and LED light therapies are also used to efficiently target epidermal and dermal layers to activate collagen induction and stimulate skin rejuvenation.
In addition to the skin and body treatments offered, a range of anti-ageing cosmeceutical products has been formulated with natural ingredients such as phytonutrients, stem cells, fruits enzymes, peptides and antioxidants that stimulate the natural skin properties.
