La Toviere Hotel – Val d’Isere – 3 Star
The Hotel la Toviere is a beautifully renovated, family-run hotel in the hamlet of La Daille just outside Val d’Isère. It is ideally located right at the bottom of the Funival lift, which is the fastest in the resort and gives easy access to the whole Espace Killy ski area. The hotel has a homely and personal feel to it, which is ideal for guests who are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Val d’Isère.
Upon entering the hotel the stone and pine clad exterior gives way to a rustic yet contemporary interior. You are greeted by a log fire in the reception area and a cosy atmosphere, which will instantly make you feel at home. With 29 rooms everything at la Toviere is geared towards catering for small groups.
There is a wellness area with both sauna and hammam, which are beautifully finished and reflect the size of the hotel.
The restaurant is bright yet cosy. At dinner there is a 3-course, two choice half-board menu which changes each night. The chef will tantalise your tastebuds, using carefully selected fresh local produce to create delicious dishes that will delight all palates.
