Experimental Chalet –  Verbier – 4 Star

Verbier is celebrated as the premier station of the “Quatre Vallées,” with exceptional winter sunshine and the most extensive network of slopes in Switzerland. With 410 km of runs linked by 80 lifts, and summits reaching 3300m at Mont-Fort, Verbier offers a spectacular panoramic Alpine view on the Combins, the Cervin and Mont Blanc peaks. The extreme ski hot-spot is exhilarating off-piste too, making it a sought-after location for free-riders. In the summer, Verbier acts as the base camp for many of the most breathtaking hiking excursions. All year round, hang-gliders, paragliders and wingsuit flyers gather at the peaks, while a rich cultural agenda in town provides sophisticated diversion.

Dining & Bar :

Active days and nights call for especially satisfying fare. At the Chalet restaurant, Gregory Marchand of Frenchie, one of Paris’s and London’s most sought-after chefs, freshens up mountain food with contemporary flair, to match Fabrizio Casiraghi’s casually elegant design.

Hearty Alpine classics like rösti, spaetzle, aligot and tartiflette are lightened up; line-caught fish from crystal mountain lakes are prepared with care, accompanied by fresh, sustainably sourced salads and vegetables.

For families, the menu offers a selection of freshly made dishes with kids in mind (“coquillettes and cheese,” cordon bleu), as well as a selection of sharable dishes en cocotte to encourage conviviality. There is an afternoon snack hour with treats to please any age, and round-the-clock bar snacks so guests can pop in anytime. Breakfast, one of Marchand’s specialities, is given special care, with house-made granolas, sweet and savory cakes, waffles, egg dishes, fresh juices, and a full complement of viennoiserie.

Our restaurant will be open from December 20th.

Bar

Situated on the first floor of the Experimental Chalet, next to reception hall’s roaring fire, is the bar, a key destination for every Experimental Group property. Serving our signature craft cocktails and an expert selection of wines and spirits, it is an ideal hideaway for “après-ski” get-togethers, pre-dinner apéritifs or as the launchpad for a late night. Continue the evening by going downstairs to the Farm Club, a legendary hot spot that has set the rhythm of Verbier after dark for over 45 years.

Spa :

For its inaugural spa, the Experimental Group collaborated with the French, tailor-made skin treatment brand ; Biologique Recherche. For more than forty years, Biologique Recherche has created and produced unique formulas for cosmetics and skin treatments in France. All with biotechnical or natural active ingredients without added perfumes.

The Biologique Recherche Method was founded with a scientific concept and vision on skin treatment and product development for the beauty industry. The visible results are proof of the excellence of their ultra bespoke formulas.

The Experimental Chalet Spa is a veritable haven of relaxation.  Situated on the ground floor of the hotel it includes three treatment rooms, a hamam, a Jacuzzi and a 50m2 solarium.
